Restaurant review

On January 4th, 2017, I went to a restaurant called "Merengue" with my aunt, uncle and cousin. It's Hawaiian located in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture.

It was all nice and clean.

There are 24 tables, 95 seats and 8 chairs in counter table.

I liked these people wearing aloha t-shirt. (restroom mark)

(We asked to be served the very last)

Since we went before the dinner time, it wasn't that crowded so food we ordered arrived faster than I thought it would be. (But sooner more and more people came in.) We shared these food so I ate every meal.

Since there was a machine like this, seats may be full during breakfast, lunch or dinner time.

All of the food I ordered was really good and I liked the interior and atmosphere inside but one thing was that it was kind of difficult to get a staff.

Ramen

I went to eat ramen (noodles) in Atsugi city, Kanagawa prefecture. It's called "ZUND-BAR".
This restaurant has high reviews on internet and was introduced in TV shows in Japan.

You can only come here by car since there's no train station near it.
Inside looked really cool. First it was just a house but the owner renovated.

It's famous because it uses water from the nearest mountain for the soup and uses fresh chicken, pork, vegetables that are made in Japan. It doesn't use any mono sodium glutaminate so food there all are made up of only natural things.

Roll Cake

Today I'll introduce you the recipe of roll cake.

My mom makes me this since I was little and its really good.

Ingredients needed:

・eggs (5)

・brown sugar (1/2 cup)

・flour (1/2 cup)

・whipped cream (200 ml)

・sugar -for whipped cream (1 tablespoon)

Materials needed:

・mixer

・oven sheet

・tablespoon

・cup

・bowl

・spatula

Apple Pie

 

Origin: Around the world
Date: Eighteenth century

Though apple pie is made and sold and eaten all over the world, no one knows about its origin. The apple itself comes from Central Asia of mountanious regions and throughout the history, pies of one sort or another have been made around the world.

In America, apple pie is so popular that there is even a phrase called, "As American as apple pie". I used to live in the States so it's common to me.

I couldn't find that much information about history in Japan but there are some cafes that sells apple pies.
